Dolby Cinema (Auditorium 8) at AMC 34th Street 14

Great sound in this Dolby; my guess is the smaller room makes it easier to calibrate. Although, sight lines from row F aren't great. At my showing, someone in a baseball cap blocked part of my view, and an empty seat left upright cut off a sliver at the bottom of the screen. Those two things took me out of the movie a few times. F10 is the truly centered seat, but if I went back, I'd pick E10 instead. A row closer should fix the sight line issue.

E and one row back are perfect; center seats are highly encouraged over side seats because the screen is very wide

Maybe a little close for my liking, but it's the first row from the entrance. Would probably do row E if possible and of course a little more central in the row. Sound was amazing from here

The screen’s pretty wide, and so sitting here it feels quite distorted.

Perfectly immersive seat. Saw Masters of the Universe here and did not feel too close at all, could still see the full screen and the sound was insane. Sit further back if you want to be at home on a couch instead.

You can really feel the audio in your butt

Amazing seat - pretty much perfect. Felt like I was completely centered both vertically and horizontally even though D7 looks off centered. I also thought D would be too close but it wasn’t at all even with reclining

Normally I prefer immersion and book row C when there's recliners but this is rather close as the screen is tall and high. Slightly off center, spider-man was an amazing experience here and I could take everything in, but I would still much rather be in row D.

You’ll have to turn your head to see what’s on the left side of the screen. It is WIDE.

Any rows from this row and above is good enough. If you’d like to sit closer and have more immersive view then take row D and recline a bit, otherwise E/F should be perfect.

Great seat

Honestly too far back, but a perfect view of the entire screen! The wall in front of the seats aren’t blocking the view when fully reclined.

honestly for almost a side view it wasn't bad. great comfortable seats and audio. would def come back to this auditorum.
