IMAX at AMC Metreon 16

Found myself moving my entire head to see things on the corner of the screen especially the far upper corner

Honestly a big fan of this row. Fills your vision without much distortion at all and minimal need to crane your neck.

First time here and first time watching a imax 70mm movie. AMAZED HOW GIANT METREON WAS. J18 was so immersive, peripherals were pretty much filled up

Almost perfect. A tier seat. Bottom of the IMAX 70MM screen is still partially obscured by the railing at the bottom. No balcony in my peripherals at the top (which is an issue if you go too far back). Head still slightly tilted up. I think L18 might be the best in the theater, so anything radiating out from there will be great.

Not as bad as it seems. Was able to lean back and get used to it. Still a little distortion though

Great view for OBAA

I think row J hits the sweet spot. Since the screen’s set higher, the middle seats naturally feel pushed back a bit.
