Dolby Cinema at AMC Empire 25

I mean wow look at that huge space between the screen and the first row! I’ve never seen anything like this before. This would’ve been a 3/5 but the huge space made this front row tolerable, or in other words immersive.

From the map itself this seat looks side-y but it turns out just fine. However, if you’re a reclining person, sit closer because I’m looking down even sitting up straight from here.

You definitely notice the off-axis sound here but the immersion is great.

Great seat. Center channel was "higher" and noticeable but that's going to be movie specific.

In this theater, basically every seat still feels centered to the screen. This is perfect. Row D is the best if you prefer immersivity. Sound was amazing, no distortion, perfectly clear image and fills 85% of your peripheral vision.

I had an issue where reclining back caused the railing in front to block the bottom few inches of the screen. Overall though, very comfy distance and height relative to screen, close enough to the 2nd floor exit, not very immersive, but great solo option if wheelchair users don't need a companion here.

great seat esp with recline.

Unfortunately this seat is just a 2 because it is too far. Other reviews mentioned about sound, but when you’re too close to one side of the speaker, you don’t get the surround sound brought to you by Dolby.

View from here was great and there wasn’t any weird off angle view

Basically the perfect seat. Sound is amazing. Your eyeline is basically the center of the screen. The seat itself is a little higher than halfway, like the other comment said, but reclining will fix it.
