Dolby Cinema (Auditorium 8) at AMC Empire 25

Amazing seat - pretty much perfect. Felt like I was completely centered both vertically and horizontally even though D7 looks off centered. I also thought D would be too close but it wasn’t at all even with reclining

There is so much space from the screen that it doesn't feel like first row

A pretty damn good seat. It’s slightly off center but I did not find that bothersome while watching. This is a great middle ground of the screen filling most of your field of vision but not being too close/immersive. This might be a short person problem but I felt like if I reclined and leaned my head back against the seat, my chin was pointed up so looking at the bottom part of the screen was a little straining on my eyes so sometimes I had to lift my head up and not sit all the way back. But that’s a nitpick honestly. This was my first time in this theater and wow it really is as great as everyone says! Since I have no other time to compare it to, I thought the sound was great. There was one point where the movie had a high pitched noise but it didn’t feel painful to hear it, and when I’ve seen the same movie in other standard theaters, the sound was super grating on my ears, so points to do Dolby for balanced audio levels.

Slightlyy off center and slightly low (reclining helps a lot though), but totally reasonable and enjoyable. I think 1-2 rows higher and 1-2 seats to left is the ideal seat in this theater

I mean wow look at that huge space between the screen and the first row! I’ve never seen anything like this before. This would’ve been a 3/5 but the huge space made this front row tolerable, or in other words immersive.

From the map itself this seat looks side-y but it turns out just fine. However, if you’re a reclining person, sit closer because I’m looking down even sitting up straight from here.

Slightly off-side, but still great. I think it's a good distance from the screen. Audio was awesome too. I think the only better seats would still be in Row D and to the left, around D9, D10, D11.

3.5/5 I took the photo straight ahead from the seat on purpose to show roughly how off-center the view is. It’s definitely one of the best rows, and there wasn’t any image distortion, but having to turn my neck to the left was a little uncomfortable.

Unfortunately this seat is just a 2 because it is too far. Other reviews mentioned about sound, but when you’re too close to one side of the speaker, you don’t get the surround sound brought to you by Dolby.

View from here was great and there wasn’t any weird off angle view
